Brendon Payne

Lead facilitator

After being born in Germany, growing up in Italy & other amazing parts of the world, Brendon quickly realized that adaptability would be his strong suit. Being able to come into a new environment and finding a way to relate to those around him was only the beginning. Those lessons are the same ones he uses today to relate to his students no matter their background or level of experience.

Brendon has been working in the wellness field for the last decade. He earned a degree in recreation programming from Hampton University. Soon after breaking into the fitness industry as a personal trainer, he created his brand, Sequel Life. It is based on the foundation that we all deserve a second chance at our BEST life, our Sequel Life. Over the next few years he quickly acquired several certifications including personal training, group exercise, PiYo, Yoga (E-RYT 200), and paddleboard (SUP) yoga. This allows Brendon to work with practitioners of all ages, experiences and levels of knowledge.

Currently, Brendon leads corporate classes and assists with local teacher trainings. In addition, he has recently given yoga lectures at UCF (University of Central Florida) taught high school athletes, worked with special populations and led a 200-hour training session for aspiring yoga teachers.

Brendon has a passion for teaching mindfulness and the practice of yoga. He has contributed wellness articles to several international publications. Thru self-study, Brendon has had the opportunity to learn from world-renowned teachers including Amy Ippoliti, Colleen Saidman, Gina Caputo, Jason Crandell, Kathryn Budig, Taylor Harkness, Rachel Brathen, Rodney Yee, Sadie Nardini, and Sean Corn to name a few. Brendon teaches yoga as a means to help people connect inward. He believes the lessons taught on the mat can be applied in many aspects of our daily lives. The goal is to cultivate sustainable change. Change within people that will ultimately change the world.
