I believe that our bodies are always communicating with us. The key to healing is learning to listen and learn from these messages by aligning ourselves with our inner being, our inner knowing. There may be layers of resistance that have subconsciously built up over time that are preventing you from finding this alignment. This is what we will address and repattern with our work together.
Healing occurs when we learn to release and let go of the resistance keeping us from our truth, then aligning with truth and making self- love and self-worth the absolute priority.
I know it’s cliche but yes, Love is the answer, Self-Discovery, Self-care and self-love is what will lead you to your peace, best health, fitness, potential and lives!
My intention is to help you to find that intrinsic drive to connect with and observe yourself from a neutral place, forgive and let go of any resistance that has held you back and take action to make those changes that you’ve only ever dreamed about.

It took me almost 20 years of working under the allopathic model of medicine to see that this system was not actually healing people. The contrary, it was actually creating a dependence on symptom management rather than getting to the root or cause of the symptoms. I had also practiced yoga for about 20 years as well until I finally took my first teacher training about 3 years ago in Power Vinyasa yoga. I’ve since trained in Thai Yoga Massage and most recently Kundalini yoga (my current passion). I credit my Kundalini practice to giving me the insight I needed to walk away from my nursing career in the hospital setting.
The alignment that my practice helped me to attain helped me to see that this mainstream “health” care system was not about “health” at all and more about suppression of symptoms keeping people in a state of dependency on the system.
I made it my mission from that point on (about a year ago) to share healing tools that are sustainable, simple and empowering with clients. My goal is not to work with you for years but to help you to create and carry out your healing plan. That you can move forward in your healing independently and confident on your path of more self-awareness, higher consciousness and self-love.
Kundalini yoga creates profound change, you simply cannot stay the same when you practice Kundalini Yoga. The very nature of what we do is to awaken the energy of consciousness, to practice in a way that sheds light on our self-imposed limitations, and invites us to think out of the box and develop our intuitive mind. Being able to live from our intuitive mind is one of the main goals of a Kundalini practitioner.
I practice and teach both Vinyasa flow and Kundalini Yoga. I see my vinyasa practice as maintenance and observation — a great way to work out kinks in my body, get grounded and calm. My Kundalini practice is a place of transformation. The kriyas and meditations are much more specific than your regular flow class, much like an Iyengar practice, but rather than focusing on physical alignment, the kriyas are a specific set of exercises that generate energy, organize that energy and deliver you to a specific energetic state — particularly one of greater awareness.
The breathwork within the kriyas is so powerful that it starts to strip away the layers that veil our consciousness, and in the sweet moments between poses we can sense the fullness of who we are. The kriyas work on strengthening your nervous system, balancing your glandular system, purifying the body and calming the mind. Also within the practice are built-in moments of stillness where we sit quietly and awaken to our Self. The breathwork within the kriyas is so powerful that it starts to strip away the layers that veil our consciousness, and in the sweet moments between poses we can sense the fullness of who we are. The kriyas work on strengthening your nervous system, balancing your glandular system, purifying the body and calming the mind. I have practiced kriyas that have left me blissed out, high and filled with a sense of connection and joy, and others that have provoked and confronted me to the very core of who I am, both physically and mentally. I have learned to stay present and accept pleasure and pain as part of the same journey to health and balance. Our ego naturally leans towards pleasure and comfort. It takes concerted effort and discipline to begin to release the ego’s grip on our consciousness. This effort is the work required to begin to access the truth of who we are, to create a strong connection to our Soul and therefore our Soul’s work on this planet. It is where we start to make great strides toward living as an enlightened being.
