THE GODS OF YOGA | Part 1
INTRODUCTION
Namaste divine souls! I'm Megan Mulrine, founder of Yogatrotter Academy and the Gods of Yoga 50hr YTT, and the lead teacher for Full Circle Yoga School here in BALI! I'm so grateful to be a part of this online Full Circle Course!
This is Part 1 of The Gods of Yoga lecture series. Go ahead and watch the videos one after the other (take notes as you go--and feel free to re-watch any of them, as they're PACKED with information and fun stories about the gods!)
At the end, there's a PDF powerpoint that recaps all the information from the videos in nice succinct tidbits with pictures. Take the quiz, and I'll see you tomorrow for part 2! ENJOY!
NOTE:I've been studying these stories mostly in Bali with a Hindu priestess here (Bali is the Hindu Island of the Gods), so my pronunciation of the gods' names slips a bit between westernized pronunciation, Indian pronunciation, and Balinese Sanskrit pronunciation. In Bali, V's sound like W's, B's sound like V's, and the I's are long--so Shiva might sound like Seewa, where in India it would sound like Shih-va. In the western world, for ease of understanding, we generally say "Sheeva," as it's most similar to how it's spelled.
