THE GODS OF YOGA | Part 2

Welcome back!

Same as yesterday, watch the videos one after another, taking notes if you'd like. There's another powerpoint PDF at the end recapping the stories. Take the quiz, and then you can start writing a sequence inspired by your favorite deity!

Enjoy story time!

CLOSING ACTIVITY

Take a moment to consider which one of those stories you heard over the past two days was your favorite. Feel free to go back and view that video again if you'd like.

COURSEWORK:

Write a very short version of the story in your own words (just a few sentences, similar to what's in the powerpoint PDF).

Write a one-sentence intention for a yoga class inspired by that story (for example, "opening our hearts to the abundance of Lakshmi through heart-opening poses", "finding the strength of the warrior Virabhadra within us through solar plexus chakra illuminating poses," etc.) This intention may be completely different from the ones I mentioned in the videos--what is it about the story that inspires YOU? Make it your own!

Lastly, jot down the names of three poses (including, of course, those that are named for that god), that you would include in a yoga sequence inspired by that deity.

THANK YOU!

It's been such a pleasure sharing these sacred stories with you. If you ever want to get in touch directly, you can find me on Instagram at @yogatrotter_ or email at megan@yogatrotter.com. And come join me in Bali, the Island of the Gods, for an in-person training one day!

Good luck with the rest of the training--you are already divinely perfect just as you are!

Love,

Megan
