My Question: Was the head of the Great Sphinx recarved, and was there originally more than one Sphinx at Giza?

Yes. The head of the Sphinx was recarved, and the monument standing at Giza today carries more than one period of its history within the same structure. The lion body is much older than the face we see today. I am shown the original Sphinx with a considerably larger head, beautifully proportioned to the massive body, and connected to an ancient period of Giza that reaches much further back than the civilization we commonly associate with Egypt.

The original form was a great lion guardian. There is something incredibly powerful about this remembrance because the lion was chosen very intentionally. It carried the solar frequency, courage, sovereignty, divine authority, and the ability to guard the passage between different realms of consciousness. The Sphinx was positioned at a threshold within a much larger sacred complex, and its placement was connected to the temples, pyramids, chambers beneath the plateau, and celestial alignments above it.

I am shown that the head was altered during a later civilization. The monument had already existed for a very long time when this occurred. The original head was carved down and reshaped into the human face we recognize today. This is also why the proportions between the enormous lion body and the comparatively small head have always seemed so unusual. We are looking at two different chapters of the same structure.

There were also other sphinxes and lion guardians associated with the greater Giza complex. I am shown them creating points of guardianship around sacred entrances and energetic passageways. Some existed above ground, while others were connected to temple areas and structures that have either disappeared, remain buried, or have yet to be fully understood. There is also a paired quality within this architecture, as though guardians were intentionally positioned in relationship to one another to hold particular gateways.

The deeper remembrance coming through is that Giza was once a living energetic complex. The pyramids, temples, Sphinx, underground chambers, water, and celestial alignments worked together. There were passageways beneath the plateau and chambers used for initiation, remembrance, frequency work, and altered states of consciousness. The Sphinx marked one of the great thresholds into this architecture.

There is an ancient intelligence within the lion itself. Those approaching this place understood that they were crossing into sacred space. The Sphinx held the frequency at the entrance, almost like a living energetic seal, and those entering the deeper chambers moved through stages of preparation and initiation before accessing what was held within them.

What keeps coming through most strongly is remembrance. Giza held knowledge of consciousness, the stars, the Earth grids, sound, frequency, and the relationship between the human body and the greater cosmic architecture. Some of this knowledge moved forward into what we now call ancient Egyptian civilization, while much of it remained encoded within the structures themselves.

And there is still so much beneath Giza.

The chambers, passageways, and deeper architecture are part of the story that has not fully returned to human awareness. The Sphinx continues to sit above this ancient field exactly where it was placed, holding the memory of civilizations, initiations, and knowledge that existed long before the story of Egypt we know today.
