You Are the Lighthouse

You are not here to chase ships.

You are not here to shout into the storm,

to convince the waves to still themselves,

or to make the wind remember your name.

You are here to stand tall on sacred rock,

rooted in truth,

rising from stillness.

You are the lighthouse.

You do not move,

you shine.

Let the wind howl.

Let the waves crash.

You remain.

You radiate.

You hold.

Even when the skies darken,

when the tides rise high and the world forgets its center,

you are the axis in the chaos,

the calm within the current,

the flame that does not flicker.

You are a beacon,

not because you reach for others,

but because you remind them of their way.

You do not rescue.

You reveal.

You do not chase.

You illuminate.

You are not responsible for who anchors or who drifts.

You are responsible only for the integrity of your own light.

And in that, you become the silent guide home

for those ready to remember.

You are not the storm.

You are not the tide.

You are not the wind that rages.

You are the light that endures.
