Hello Moonbeams!

In the midst of a chaotic world, we usher in the New Moon in the sign of dual natured Gemini on Friday, May 22nd. For months we have heard…do this…no, we are going to do that…open everything, keep everything closed…Blah, blah, blah.

But wait…change is on the horizon! The new moon is about beginnings…we now need to focus our thoughts on the fact that we are beginning again. Though the risk of infection is still high, this time, in this month there is a turning point.

New moons are symbolic of a second chance to make things right. It is now time for recovery, setting new routines, and beginning to rebuild. With this powerful Gemini energy, we have the chance to make important changes in our lives. It won’t be easy, but if we stay healthy and keep looking after each other, we will feel the good deep in our souls.

Tonight, smudge your space, light some candles, hold your favorite crystals, put on some music, close your eyes and breathe.

As you breathe, ask yourself any of the following questions (there is no right or wrong answer):

What am I calling in?

What do I most desire?

What new beginning am I stepping into?

Who am I when I am most aligned and empowered?

We are also at the brink of a new eclipse series now beginning next month with

June's Full Moon lunar eclipse in Sagittarius. Since this is a time for lovingly

planting seeds, and many of us are still sheltering in place, why not plant a magical moon garden?

What could be more enchanted than to cultivate your own Moon Garden. Honoring the Silver Goddess in all her glory with a fragrant and luminous evening garden. A wonderful offering which you will benefit from as well. Many night-blooming flowers are white and rely on strong fragrance, rather than bright colors, to attract insects.

Plant night-bloomers near a bedroom window, where the breeze can carry the fragrance indoors right into your dreams. Plant some in a circle to mimic the Moon, they look terrific alongside silver-foliaged Lambs ears and Artemisia. Illuminated only by moonlight, pale flowers and foliage add a dreamy, ethereal feeling. You don’t need to have a big space, and potted plants work too, just remember to add a trellis or place where vinery plants can grow onto, as, unless they feel safe, they will not bloom.

You can place Moonstones and or Crystals in the dirt of these pale beauties to

energize them for meditations and spells. Do not forget when you take from a

plant, to ask its permission and give thanks, an offering of water is

a perfect thank you.
