As we celebrate our final New Moon of 2020 on the 14th how amazing to also feel the energies of a Total Solar Eclipse…Solar Eclipses are like potent New Moons and this one is going to bring us a powerful burst of new energy to help us to finish out 2020 and move into our new year.
This is actually the perfect New Moon to bring us into a shiny well needed new year, because after all, New Moons are New Beginnings. With Mercury also active right now you will feel the need to speak your truth. Just be sure that what you say is aligned with what you are manifesting. What we think we want is not always what we need. And the eclipse opens a sacred portal of energy needed to move your life in a new direction, but it’s up to you to walk through. Keep moving forward and trust the cosmos. The New Moon Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius will create an opportunity to transition out of the past and into the future we have dreamed of.

Working with the phases of the moon in my profession I always felt the moon was a sacred union between the Sun (spirit) and Moon (soul). In alchemy, an action like this is considered a conjunction where two chemicals create a third. It is not a coincidence that this eclipse leads us into the Solstice and Great Conjunction on December 21st.This cosmic Christmas/Yule miracle has not been seen for almost 800 years, 1226 in fact. On Solstice, Jupiter and Saturn will align so closely that they will appear as a radiant light we call the Christmas Star. Though the energy will be felt at its most powerful the weeks before and after, it’s influence will be felt for many years to come while we enter the Age of Aquarius.
As 2020 comes to a close, why not let this energy be the start of something new, a new starting point in your life.
