60 Hour Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Program
This Yoga Alliance continuing education course is open to anyone with their 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Certification who interested in learning and teaching Yin & Restorative Yoga to uncover deep truth, well-being, and transformation. Taking a 60 hour yoga teacher training with Full Circle Yoga School promotes fuses mind, body, and soul.
This 7 day training retreat breaks into 3 trainings:
February 21, 22, 23 - 30hr Restorative Yoga Teacher Training
February 24 - Ayurvedic Aromatherapy
February 25, 26, 27 - 30hr Yin Yoga Teacher Training
Any student can take one, two, or all three sections within these 7 days.
Spiritual and Mystical Lifestyle
Teaching in the traditional yogic methodology, we view yoga as a lifestyle, a science, and an art. Our course combines modern Yin and Restorative yoga practices with the colorful histories, traditions, and philosophies of the past.
A yoga teacher training with Full Circle Yoga School can deepen your understanding of Prana (life-force energy), energetic healing, spirituality, crystals, and essential oils in the Yin Yoga Practice. These elements are woven into practical and scientific courses on anatomy, sequencing, and breath — all in an inclusive and accepting atmosphere.

Our training doesn’t stop at a certificate. We’re committed to helping you grow and expand deeply on a personal level, so you can fully express yourself in every moment. Some ceremonies, mantras, and rituals may be included in your 7 day course to guide you towards deep personal healing.
Many students experience rejuvenation from past experiences, detachment from emotional energies and a deep shifting of priorities as deep Yin posture have a way of access deep layers of body and soul while Restorative Yoga allows us to fully let go. You will leave this Yoga Teacher Training feeling expanded and empowered as an individual.
Immersion in Conscious Living
True yogic living teaches us to expand our consciousness and live a higher vibrational experience filled with beauty, presence, grace, and bliss. Abstaining from alcohol and coffee (take out), detoxing from digital devices, and eating a whole, vegetarian diet are just a few yogic practices we encourage students to follow during training. These small shifts can ignite enormous transformations that provide balance, peace, and wisdom on and off the mat.
Upon completion of the course, students will receive certification and a 60 hr Continuing Education Yoga Alliance certificate through Full Circle Yoga School a Registered Yoga School (RYS).

Yin Yoga Defined - Yin Yoga Techniques, Training and Practice 2.00 Hours
Description - What is Yin Yoga, what is it's history, how did it develop and why? Does it have ancient traditional roots or is it more of a modern day modality. This session will inquiry students on their experience and knowledge and provide the scope of all that Yin Yoga is and is not and how it is different from gentle yoga and restorative yoga.
Yin Yoga Yin Yoga Techniques, Training and Practice 2.00 Hours
Description - How to practice yin yoga, when to practice yin yoga, before you practice, the three tattvas of yin yoga practice, playing our edges, resolving to be still, stillness of the body, stillness of the breath, stillness of the mind, holding for time, how deep, how long, how often, the portable yin, intention & attention, moving energy.
Yin Yoga Techniques, Training and Practice 2.00 Hours
Description - beginning the practice, invocations, opening meditation, flowing, beginning asanas, linking asanas, finishing asanas, other considerations, ending the practice, closing meditation, transition to your next activity.
Yin Yoga Pranayama a Yin Yoga Techniques, Training and Practice 2.00 Hours
Description - moving energy, simple awareness, directed breathing, the hamsa mantra, nadi shodhana, basic breath patterns, adding kumbhaka and lengthening the exhalation, orbiting energy, a simple orbit, orbiting energy while in a pose, a simple variation, the microcosmic orbit.
Learning Objectives Yin Asana Lab 1 Yin Yoga Techniques, Training and Practice 3.00 Hours
Description - anahatasana, ankle stretch, bananasana, butterfly, half butterfly, camel, cat pulling its tail, caterpillar, childs pose Learning Objectives Through active inquiry of the mentioned yin asanas students we will move through hands on effective and safe cueing. Yin Asana Lab 2 Yin Yoga Techniques, Training and Practice 3.00 Hours
Description - dangling, deer pose, dragons, frog, happy baby, reclining twist, saddle, shoelace, snail Learning Objectives Through active inquiry of the mentioned yin asanas students we will move through hands on effective and safe cueing. In addition modification through use of blocks, bolsters, straps, and blankets will be taught and practiced. Students will demonstrate learned skills in any time remaining.
Yin Asana Lab 3 Yin Yoga Techniques, Training and Practice 3.00 Hours
Description - sphinx & seal, square, squat, straddle (dragonfly), swan & sleeping swan, toe squat, shavasana Learning Objectives Through active inquiry of the mentioned yin asanas students we will move through hands on effective and safe cueing. Yin Yoga Anatomy 2 Yin Yoga Anatomy & Physiology 2.50 Hours
Yin yoga physical benefits, stressing our tissues (unstressed, compressed, stretched, twisted), our tissues (epithelia, nervous, muscle, connective), the limits of flexibility, more on fascia, the myofascial-tendon complex, tendon changing, the deep fascia, myofibroblasts, connective tissues, cartilage and bones.
Yin Yoga Anatomy 3 Yin Yoga Anatomy & Physiology 3.00 Hours
Description - Anatomy as applied to yin yoga of directional stress on connective tissues, aging and damage of connective tissues, ground substances and hydration, joints, the joint capsules, spine and spinal curves.

Description - Warm up restorative asanas. Restorative asanas will be taught and demonstrated with modifications, props, alignment, and safety.

Description - Back bends for restorative, blanket roll and 3 positions, simple bridge with block or bolster, reclining bridge pose, supported bound angle, cross bolster pose, fish pose with blocks or bolster, heart opening poses, reclining hero pose. Restorative asanas will be taught and demonstrated with modifications, props, alignment, and safety.

Description - Twists and Forward Bends for Restorative Yoga, revolved abdomen pose, belly down twist over bolster, scissored legs belly down twist, side lying stretch, child’s pose, belly down with bolster at hip, chair forward bend, down dog with head on bolster or block, pigeon pose with bolster. Restorative asanas will be taught and demonstrated with modifications, props, alignment, and safety.

Our Florida Keys Yin, Restorative and Ayurvedic Aromatherapy Yoga Teacher Training is on the open water, providing the chance to wade, swim and enjoy healing ocean energy. Our main house has 4 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths and we often rent two houses in close proximity to each other depending on student numbers.
